Clinics & Workshops

an in-depth experience to discover connection, communication and partnership

Matney and Caitlin began thinking about how to offer broader access to the Hoofbeat Attunement way of working with horses not long after they first met in 2012. Many years of dreaming and scheming later, they began offering workshops in 2018 and have grown their offerings ever since.

They now offer anything from from a 3-day intro to attunement to a 3-part workshop series, Strengthening Partnership Clinic, and customized workshops for staff and clientele at several organizations including Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, Black Mountain Ranch, Fay Ranch and Westside Stables. Their experience and confidence guiding a group of humans into attunement with horses has already touched many lives, and as a team their level of adaptability and creativity is unparalleled!

If you’d like to be considered as a host for an offering at your location, or have Caitlin and Matney design a custom experience for you and a group of friends or family, reach out to us at hoofbeatattunementworkshops@gmail.com

What’s the difference between a Clinic format and a Workshop format?

We thought long and hard about this one since the terms are used somewhat interchangeably in the horse world and are confusing for someone new to horses!

The Clinic format focuses on teaching horsemanship skills and can be thought of as part classroom time, part lesson time.

The Workshop format focuses on group process and may include horsemanship skills and coaching, but the primary focus is on self development.
